Sandeep is Senior Vice President, Head of Region Asia for Hoegh LNG. He is also the General Manager for Hoegh LNG in Singapore, and a member of the Extended Senior Management Team of the company. Sandeep has worked globally in the LNG and Gas industry for more than 26 years in various Management, Commercial, Business Development & M&A roles. Prior to joining Hoegh, Sandeep was responsible for growing the commercial business at Singapore LNG, including negotiating key Terminal Use Agreements with customers and developing infrastructure services aimed at positioning Singapore as an LNG hub and ensuring Energy Security at the same time. He was a member of the Senior Management Team and spent over 9 years with SLNG, including serving as Acting and Interim CEO. Before SLNG, Sandeep worked in BG Group for over 15 years in the UK, USA, Egypt and Singapore, where he covered the full LNG value chain from upstream projects to LNG and downstream. Sandeep is experienced in management and leadership and functionally his core areas of responsibility have been in commercial negotiations, deal structuring, strategy, commercial operations, business development and market development. Sandeep graduated with a First-Class Honors degree in Economics from University College London.
