Christopher is Sr. Vice President of Business
Development at Wood in Houston (Wood is the combination of the old Wood Group
and Amec Foster Wheeler). Christopher's career spans 38 years in the upstream
oil & gas industry - from field engineering to executive level management -
where he has worked for market leaders McDermott, ABB, KBR and Technip. His has
worked and lived in Singapore, Indonesia, Egypt, Australia and Texas. His
experience covers all aspects of the upstream industry including field
engineering, offshore construction, fabrication operations, EPCI project
management, marketing and business development. Chris also spent three years as
VP and Group Publisher for PennWell where he had responsibility for the
Offshore Franchise, including Offshore Magazine and industry conferences. Chris
is a member of ASME and SPE and sits on several industry conferences boards.
Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M
University in 1980. He has been married for over 30 years to a Swede and has
two beautiful daughters and one grandchild.
