Gabriel is a research analyst and specialist for the Latin American Upstream Costs and Supply Chain team at S&P Global Commodity Insights. He focuses on exploration and production activity, market fundamentals, materials and equipment demand, supply capacity, and cost drivers in Latin America. With professional experience at Eletrobras Furnas, Gabriel had the opportunity to work in a challenging environment at Brazil's largest power generation company. There, he gained a solid foundation of mechanical engineering knowledge and practical experience in projects related to power generation and distribution. Furthermore, he also had a rewarding experience at a company that supplies instrumentation and control solutions for the petrochemical industry. Gabriel holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) with a particular interest in the field of computational fluid dynamics. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in this specialization.
