Bruno Freitas joined SBM Offshore in May 2019 after more than 20 years of experience within the Oil & Gas industry. His challenge was to develop the new Brazil Business Acquisition Department, recently added to the company's organisational structure. Four months later, he took the additional role of Project Office Director, responsible for managing the Local Content scope of the FPSO Sepetiba (MERO 2). In August 2020, Bruno Freitas was nominated the new Country Director for SBM Offshore in Brazil, a position that he holds in the present moment. Managing all the company's local scope of projects, engineering, support and administrative departments among others, his responsibility is to ensure the continuous improvement of SBM Offshore's corporate relations and business development in Brazil.
