Celebrating 25 Years of FPSO World Congress

Twenty-five years ago, we launched FPSO World Congress to connect the offshore oil & gas industry together. Our aim was to bring together key stakeholders involved in FSO / FPSO / FLNG / FSRU projects around the world. Since then, the congress has established itself as the bridge between floating vessel operators, oil & gas producers, and offshore solution providers as we welcomed over thousands of delegates from countries all over the world. It is an enormous privilege to reach this milestone – and we haven’t done it alone.

FPSO World Congress is what it is today because of our community: our network, our partners, and most importantly, all our supportive partners and delegates like yourself who challenge us to keep innovating. As we are celebrating our 25th anniversary this year, we are also celebrating 25 years of your commitment and support. It’s a cycle that has repeated itself at FPSO World Congress over the last decade.

Be it exploring engineering practices, refining remote and digital operations, or shaping the future of alternative energy — each chapter of our story has been co-authored by you.

It’s All About You

It has been inspiring to see how industry leaders have innovated across the years. The idea of maximizing efficiency at any point within the life cycle of oil production has been the greatest driving force of the industry. FPSO World Congress also laid the foundations for leaders to make an impact within our exhibition walls.

We have been supported by numerous solution providers who have embraced innovation deeply, aiming to provide cost effective solutions to address challenges across the entire production cycle – some of which have been partnering with us for more than a decade. We express our gratitude to you for being part of an amazing journey with us.

A Note from our Portfolio Director: Looking Ahead at World Offshore Week

“As we look ahead, I’ve been reflecting on the commitment that we have put in. With technology improving day by day, we now have the opportunity to do things that matter on an even larger scale. We’re just beginning to see what the next wave of technology is capable of and how quickly it can improve. Emission reduction technologies and digital operations will be one of the most impactful technological shifts we will see in our lifetime. It’s a fundamental rewiring of how we produce energy in a sustainable and efficient manner.

Just last year, our team recognized the importance of looking beyond floating vessels. FPSOs covered an integral but only a small part of oil production. In the energy landscape, there is so much more to it. It was then where we decided to launch our inaugural edition of World Offshore Week (WOW) where we started to explore exciting topics such as Offshore Wind and Offshore Remote Monitoring & Control. Following its success in 2023, WOW returns in 2024 to bring together the offshore oil, energy, and maritime sector together with FPSO World Congress.
