Dr. Akhil Agarwal is Shell's Operations Manager for Stones FPSO, Turritella, located deepwater in the US Gulf of Mexico. Turritella is the deepest floating production system in the world. As Stones Operations Manager, he is responsible for end-to-end value delivery from Stones asset. Dr. Agarwal has 16+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry. He has worked in R&D, engineering, projects, and operations management across Shell's upstream/downstream assets and engineering organizations. Dr. Agarwal completed his B. Tech and Master's at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, followed by Ph.D. from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta.
