General Manager SBM OffshoreKhairil joined SBM Offshore in March 2017 and was appointed as General Manager for Malaysia center in February 2018, then moving to Singapore as General Manager in December 2019. Khairil was re-appointed as General Manager for Malaysia center in December 2020 to ensure effective interface management with the global organization, responsible to run the execution center cost effectively and leading the evolution on the ways of working locally. He acts as the face of the company to the external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with local law, policies and regulations. Khairil has more than 16 years of experience in energy industries with international exposure when he was based in Switzerland and Singapore. Khairil received Master Degree in Business Administration from University Putra Malaysia. Khairil is an inclusive leader, a family man and loves to spend outdoor hiking and cycling.
