Khaleef Khan, Vice President, Sales, Hub Product Group Manager – Oil & Gas, Asia, ABB
Khaleef Khan is the Oil & Gas Product group manager for Hub Asia of ABB’s Energy Industries Division within the Industrial Automation Business where the portfolio covers the Offshore and Onshore Upstream, subsea, LNG & Gas processing, midstream pipeline, storage and terminal segments.
Khaleef has over 14 years of experience in ABB for the oil, gas and chemical industry. With a background in Electrical & Control Engineering, he started his career under technical roles in engineering, commissioning and project management, and has played significant role in front end sales and solutions towards customers in Oil, Gas and Chemical segment. Khaleef Khan has held sales operations management positions in India, Saudi Arabia and Singapore.
Most recently, he was leading the Oil & Gas sales management role for South Asia. Khaleef with his deep techno-commercial knowledge in the industry coupled with innovative solution mindset has been supporting industry customers to drive growth and boost operational efficiency keeping quality and safety as prime factors.
Steve Royston, Global Technology Manager, Oil & Gas, Energy Industries, ABB
Steve Royston is the Global Technology Manager for Oil & Gas Product Group for ABB’s Energy Industries Division, within the Process Automation Business. After graduating with a BSC (Hons) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in July 1984, Steve joined ABB (then ASEA) and since then, has attained over 36 years of Process Automation related industry knowledge and experience in the definition, execution and operations of process control, safety and electrical automation system solutions that also include Industry 4.0 digital applications.
His experience is derived from working in a wide variety of industry areas that are predominantly oil & gas related, as well as for pulp & paper, metal and chemicals. Steve works in an international environment and has significant installation and commissioning experience. During his career with ABB, Steve has held a variety of roles including Project Management, Lead Engineering, Proposal and Sales Support Management and Technology Management.
His current position is Technology Manager within ABB’s Oil & Gas Global Product Group, focusing on Onshore Upstream and Midstream LNG, and provides Technology Management for ABB’s recently launched global standardised project execution initiative, known as ABB Adaptive Execution™.
Johan Gunnar, Global Technology Manager, Oil & Gas, Energy Industries, ABB
Johan Gunnar is Global Technology Manager for Oil & Gas Product Group for ABB’s Energy Industries Division, within the Process Automation Business.
Johan joined ABB in 2006 after graduating with a MSc in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering. During his 15 years in ABB, Johan has built up experience from various roles and responsibilities primarily within research and development, but he has also applied his skills in aftersales as operation manager.
Working in an international environment and developing technology in large R&D collaborations with oil and gas customers has formed Johan’s career in ABB. Before entering his current position, Johan was technical lead for development of the control and protection solution in one of ABB’s largest development project in recent times, the joint industry program for Subsea Power.
His current position is Technology Manager focusing on the Offshore segment, and with responsibility for electrical technology across the oil & gas segments.
